FASTENER TECH makes automotive and industrial fasteners at Daulatabad Industrial Area in Gurugram, Haryana. We cold forge, roll threads, machine, heat treat and finish the parts that hold vehicles and machines together. Most of what we make starts as a coil of steel wire and leaves as a finished part, without much of that steel ending up as scrap. That's the appeal of cold forging. The metal is pressed into shape at room temperature, so the grain follows the part and the part comes out stronger than one cut from bar.
It's also fast, which matters when a customer needs the same component in the tens of thousands, month after month.
We've set the plant up around that idea. Multi-station part formers do the heavy work. Thread rolling, punching, tapping and secondary machining take the part the rest of the way, and heat treatment and surface finishing get it ready for the assembly line.
Some are standard, most are made to a customer drawing. Custom shapes welcome.
Every job follows the same eight steps, and we don't skip any of them to save a day. Simple on paper. Doing it the same way on every batch is the hard part, and that's where we put our effort.
